Now that the season is in full swing and more and more people are beginning to play, I wanted to give you the heads up on things that you should avoid doing on the the golf course...
- Wearing any type of camouflage clothing
- If you lose one of your iron covers....forget about it...just leave the thing, because the guy that finds it is going to laugh for the next six holes
- Fist pumping for double-bogey
- Using a brush-tee or any type of tee that "guarantees longer, more accurate drives and less friction..." Blah, blah, blah. Do you see what kind of tee Tiger uses? Don't you think if they were that great he would be using one...?
- Applying an amount of sunscreen that makes it impossible for your closest family members to identify you. I know the sun is dangerous, but come on, it's not paint....it's sunscreen and it can be re-applied...it doesn't have to last two seasons.
- Avoid stealing the honours from a higher handicap player after they have made a birdie. The guy just played possibly the greatest hole of his life....give him his glory and make a big deal about it.
- If you are over thirty, there is no reason your hat should be on backwards. You aren't representing the east coast or the west coast....you drive a mini van for crying out loud.
- T-shirts are out.....I know some of you like the mock necks and those things seem to have gotten increasingly smaller over the past couple of years, but we still know the difference between that and your run-of-the-mill t-shirt. Nice try!
