I will be honest...I am looking forward to the "Big Game" this Sunday! I am not a hard core football fan (I have never painted d my face or had a tattoo of my favourite team placed somewhere on my body), but I think I know as much as the next guy and I like to watch two good teams play and see who wins.
I am not the "GUY"that sits in front of the TV and yells that they should "switch to a 3-4 defense to stop the run", or the "GUY" that screams "spread the offense" or the "GUY" that tells everyone that "if they are going to win...the need to play smash mouth football". You know the guy I am talking about....the dude that thinks that any day the phone could ring and that he may be coaching in the NFL! The guy that knows what to do on third and inches and when to throw the challenge flag, or call a time out...I hate that guy. Just watch the game and shut up!
This "GUY"is the reason I try to avoid attending Super Bowl parties or Masters parties! There is always one "know it all" that ruins the experience for everyone! Why do we put up with this guy? Are we too nice to tell him to shut up? The weird part is that you don't know who this guy is until its too late. It's never who you expect it to be....all of a sudden the guy that is usually calm and quite is yelling and spitting like Bill Cowher. Every other day of the week he is an accountant but on Super Bowl he is Vince Lombardi!
So...if you are that GUY here is some advice....if you are watching the game and you find that you are talking more than Joe Buck or Troy Aikman....just shut up! Let the players play and cheer when you are supposed to!! Enjoy the game
It's that simple!
That was my thought,too.
